Welcome to the Blacksmiths Awards!
Beginning July 18, we are accepting entries for the Blacksmith Awards. Members and non-members are welcome to apply. Before you start assembling your entries, take a few minutes to review all the information. While this year’s awards are similar to previous years, there are a few updates. Please read the information below carefully.
For all information on the Blacksmiths, including eligibility, detailed entry information, categories, deadlines, entry fees and more, visit the pages listed in the Blacksmith Information menu above.
- Early Deadline: 5 p.m., Sunday, August 31
- Regular Deadline: 5 p.m., Friday, September 12
- Late Deadline: 5 p.m., Friday, September 19 (this will NOT be extended).
The contest fees reflect these deadlines. Most award types receive a $5 discount if submitted by the early deadline. Late entries will incur an additional $10 fee. We will not accept entries submitted after the final deadline. See our deadlines and entry fees page for complete details.
BLACKSMITH AWARDS PRESENTATION - SAVE THE DATE
Please save the date for our Blacksmith Awards Presentation from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, at The Ventura in Norwood. The presentation will be part of the Cincinnati PRSA Chapter Banquet. More details will be coming soon.
The Chapter Banquet will celebrate the chapter and the entire public relations community in the Cincinnati area. While the Blacksmith winners and finalists will be part of this chapter-wide event, we will also honor the WVB Award and Presidents Award winners.
Do you know someone else who should be entering? Let’s face it – we all do! Spread the word – to PRSA members and non-members. We invite everyone in the Greater Cincinnati public relations community to submit their best work to the Blacksmiths! First-time entrants will receive a discounted ticket to the banquet. There will also be a Best of Category for first-time entries.
